Community Food Bank

Volunteers at the Community Food Bank help pack and sort food, distribute food, work in community gardens, serve meals at the community kitchen, and assist in administrative offices. Various volunteer opportunities are available for individuals, teams, families, and those completing court-ordered community service.

Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona

The Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona responds to the root causes of hunger, and seeks to restore dignity, health, opportunity and hope to people living in poverty. Our mission is to ensure our communities are healthy and hunger-free today, tomorrow, and always.

Volunteer information: Our volunteers do it all, including packing and sorting food, distributing food, working in our community gardens, serving meals at our community kitchen, and helping out in our administrative offices. We welcome volunteers at all of our locations: Tucson, Green Valley, Amado, and Nogales, plus our monthly Mobile Distributions in Marana.

Winterhaven Festival of Lights

The Winterhaven Festival of Lights is a Southern Arizona tradition that relies on the support of volunteers to bring joy to over 200,000 visitors each year. As a volunteer-run, nonprofit event, it raises funds for the Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona while providing a free and joyful experience for the community.
