Homes with Hope is a Westport-based organization dedicated to preventing and ending homelessness and food insecurity in Fairfield County.

Steep Rock Association

Protecting Land & Water: The guiding principle of Steep Rock Association’s land preservation initiative is to protect property with high conservation and/or passive recreational value in both a local and regional context. Enriching Communities: Stewarding 46 miles of scenic nature trails through breathtaking landscapes in Washington. Feeding Families: Helping to feed 200 families in need each week with organic vegetables grown at Judea Garden. From a small patch of land, it has grown into a sustainable operation, feeding countless families in our community.

Volunteer information: With nearly 6,000 acres of protected land, many sets of eyes, ears and hands are needed to monitor, preserve and maintain our special places in this world. Keeping our operation running smoothly and accurately takes many hours of record keeping and data input. Join us as we work to keep a treasure for generations to come.

Covenant Soup Kitchen

Covenant Soup Kitchen is a nonprofit organization that operates 365 days a year with a small staff and relies on dedicated volunteers and community service workers. They provide meals and operate a Community Food Pantry Cooperative to assist those in need.

The Salvation Army's Hartford Hub is actively supporting residents in need by providing food assistance and checking on the well-being of isolated individuals during the COVID-19 pandemic. Volunteers play a crucial role in sorting and delivering essential items to those affected by challenging circumstances.

The Salvation Army Bristol Corps operates a soup kitchen that has been serving the community since 1982. The kitchen provides hot, nutritious meals to residents in need and has expanded its services over the years, including a recent renovation to better serve the community.
